Savannah Hackers,

vcs had a bad night last night. This morning's logs are filled with
process problems due to it being out of memory. Remember that vcs is
an old, old, OLD system long out of security support. It is one of
the ones that doesn't always reboot cleanly. We don't have console
access to save it if it doesn't come back online.

I have asked Ruben to give it a reboot today and monitor that it boots
up afterward.

vcs had a bad night last night.
And the problem continues. I am logged in with one ssh connection.
But I cannot log in with any other connections. There is plenty of
memory available on the system. It appears that only 1G is in use
while there is 5G free.

I think that if the system were rebooted that it would get back on
track again.

[[This system dearly needs to be replaced. The saga continues.]]

No word on this yet.

Ruben rebooted vcs this morning. It seems *much* happier now.
