Details:

I uploaded some pages for the recently registered project: micropad.

I can see that pages at
http://web.cvs.savannah.nongnu.org/viewvc/micropad/micropad/

However when I try to view those pages at http://www.nongnu.org/micropad I
get:

Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL
manually please check your spelling and try again.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the package maintainers.

Follow-up Comment #1:

Hi John. It looks like there is a problem with setting up web CVS that needs
to be fixed. The 'loginfo' script was missing the update hook needed to
trigger www.gnu.org to update the web pages. That should be automatically
added but was missing from micropad for some reason.

I have installed the hook. Please make any update to the web CVS and it
should trigger the update. I have my fingers crossed that this will work. If
so then within a few minutes (it is event driven but will take a moment to
propagate the actions) the web cvs will be checked out on www.gnu.org and
become available through the web. If it takes longer than a few minutes then
something else is stuck. (Unfortunately the processes on www.gnu.org do
sometimes get stuck.)

If this works then great! If not then we may need to get FSF admins involved
in order to work on the www.gnu.org system to get the update there. Savannah
folks typically only have access to the Savannah.

Follow-up Comment #2:

Figured out the event trigger to get www.gnu.org to update. But it still
failed. Looked. There was another additional setup problem found by
comparing against another known good. Fixed that. Then one more problem.
Then finally the update trigger worked to update www.gnu.org.

You should be good to go now. The web page is available.

Please let us know with an additional comment that everything is either all
good or still needing something.

For the archive the two files needing fixing were loginfo and passwd in the
CVSROOT directory. I cloned from a known good nongnu project those files into
the micropad CVSROOT directory.
