Details:

I have installed the octave4.2.2 and it is impossible to read the command
window messages and what I type. But it is possible copy and paste into a text
editor to read.
I am using the Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS

See below the text from octave command window.
See the picture attached how appears.

Sorry but you have submitted your bug to the wrong project. We are not the
octave project and don't know anything about it here. As such there isn't
anything more we can do other than simply close the bug. Sorry.
